Resiliency is the capacity to stay centered in the face of adversity. It can be found in many different contexts, including Personal resilience, which is the capacity of a person to cope with stress, trauma, and hardship. It can also be at the level of Community resilience, which is the capacity of a community to do the same.

Here at Roots to Leaves, we want everyone to have the tools to strengthen both their Personal and their Community resilience.

This can mean many different things for many different people. Roots to Leaves is here to help all of us increase our resiliency in whatever ways make sense to each of us.

For some people that means sharing their skills at gardening, foraging, building, and more. For others it means asking a lot of questions. For others it means just sitting back and learning from other people’s conversations. No matter where you are in your resiliency journey, there is a place for you with Roots to Leaves.
